Test administrator training modules

As part of the TEA’s ongoing efforts to improve security measures in the state’s testing program and to help ensure that test results are meaningful and valid, the Student Assessment Division has developed web-based training modules for test administrators. This online training, which currently consists of the three modules below, is optional but strongly recommended. It is designed to supplement the mandatory training required of all personnel involved in testing.

Note: training modules require a Flash enabled browser, and cannot be viewed on iOS devices.

Webinar Trainings for Administration Activities and Interim Assessments

A series of webinar training opportunities for administration activities will be offered in 2020-2021. Due to space limitations, district testing coordinators and technology coordinators who want to participate must register to attend these trainings. Space is limited to the first 500 registrants for each training session. Registrants will receive an email from no-reply@zoom.us. Use the Zoom link provided in the email to log into the webinar on the day of the training.

Classroom Teachers- Interpreting Student Interim Scores

A Deep Dive into the Online Reporting Suite (ORS)

December 2020 Material Returns

    This webinar training will provide information about test material returns for December 2020 including completion of header sheets, packing scorable versus nonscorable, freight versus UPS shipment and how to return OOD/OOS test takers. Preparing for the Release of December 2020 Scores

    This webinar training will provide information regarding receipt of your December 2020 scores. The training will cover the various report types posted to the Assessment Management System for scoring and reporting.
